AIA approves updated five-year Strategic Plan for 2021-2025
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has outlined the initial phases of new strategic and climate action plans. In a recent virtual meeting that took place between April 14 and 17, leaders of the organization convened to outline guiding principles for AIA's next five years. The AIA website explains that this group also discussed how to move forward from the COVID-19 crisis and worked to articulate a stronger position on sustainability with regards to "human and ecological health." In addition, the group made plans for how to complete certain required functions, including AIA's Annual Business Meeting, in light of the recently cancelled A'20 Conference on Architecture and Design.
