Boschen Design, Architecture seeking Architectural Designer in New York, NY, US
Boschen Design is a 5-person Architecture firm primarily engaged in residential renovation work in NYC, with a smattering of commercial work and work outside New York. We do all phases of design work: Schematics, Design Development, Codes & Filings, Coop/Condo approvals, Contract documents, Bidding & Construction. We don't have a signature design style, for a few reasons: 1) different circumstances require different solutions; 2) we generally work directly with the people who will be living in our designs, so generic solutions aren't appropriate; 3) history is sometimes important and sometimes is not, and finally; 4) it's more fun that way. We're looking for an Architectural Designer who is interested in working at our scale - and on all phases of projects that may sometimes last only for a few months, more typically for a year, and sometimes for two years.
