Basic Function: Reporting to the Associate Dean of Admissions and Outreach, the Director of Internal Exhibitions and Events is responsible for researching, planning, organizing, publicizing, and managing the execution and follow-up for public events sponsored by the School held on-site, off-site, or online, as well as School-wide events as assigned by the Dean such as Commencement, Open House, Year End Show Exhibition and Exhibition Openings. Collaborates with the Dean and Associate Dean of Admissions and Outreach to conceive future event programming by developing event proposals and conducting research on relevant topics and potential program participants; supports faculty and students who are leading conferences or symposia; and creates strategies to increase public awareness of programming as well as student participation.
