Flad Architects seeking Computational Design Specialist in San Francisco, CA, US
As Flad expands its computational design practice, we are hiring additional Computational Design Specialists that are integral in the leveraging and integration of our BIM and data analytics for our clients. This position will collaborate with all Flad's offices, provide support to project teams, and develop novel approaches for computational design applications. These computational design team members will be located on the West Coast in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA and in either Madison, WI or New York, NY. Responsibilities: Approximately 50% of the time will be spent helping projects with computational & generative design work. This includes: Help develop geometrically complex designs such as façade systems, interior features and installations, and overall building massing with inputs such as daylighting, maximation of views, or traffic patterns.Develop custom design tools based on specific projects to re-use in future projects.Leverage computational design to quantify cost i...
