We are a small, design oriented firm, specializing in single family residential and small, boutique health care offices. We use Vectorworks, but quite inefficiently. We are looking for a consultant who can generate 2d and 3d design and construction documentation somewhat independently. There would be a lot of supervision and interaction within the CAD documents, but you still need to have a good architectural design sensibility that fits well with ours, and a thorough understanding of construction documentation standards as well as the software. The projects are on an as-needed basis, but the current one is quite simple and will work well as an introduction: We have completed construction drawings for two dental offices in a 3200sf space and the beginnings of cabinet plans and elevations. We need full bid drawings for cabinetry. As the selected cabinetmaker will redraw everything for his fabrication, these can be quite simple.
