G.H. Forbes Associates Architects is seeking to immediately hire a full-time Designer to join our team of seven. The office is located near downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. We specialize in a wide range of Public Sector Renovation and Death Care projects (cemeteries and funeral homes). The firm began more than 50 years ago, and the office offers a team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere. The Designer will be provided with the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the design and construction of small to medium-sized projects under the guidance of a Principal Architect. Tasks will include consultant management, client communications, site investigation, design and production of construction documents, cost estimating, code research and construction observation. Our intent is to help you grow as an architect while you help us grow as a firm. Applicants should have excellent organizational and communication skills, a great attitude and a willingness to learn.
