Moran Hook Architecture seeking Intermediate Architect in New York, NY, US
We are currently seeking intermediate level architect candidates who are highly self-motivated with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in traditional architecture, including the production of documents for substantial custom, private residential projects. Ideally candidates would be based within an easy commute to New York City. In the short term, remote work is acceptable, but long term, we would prefer to be in-person full or part time. JOB REQUIREMENTS Proficiency in CAD & Microsoft Office; competency in sketching and hand drawing, Photoshop and InDesign, or other publishing software, and SktechUp are all preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. Sound knowledge of construction details; Competency in assembling a set of construction documents with little assistance. Curiosity and a desire to learn.
