Applicants for this junior architectural designer position should have between 2 and 3 years of full-time professional experience having spent some time working on high-end cultural facility design, museum projects, and/or custom residential work. This position requires the candidate to demonstrate creativity and design sophistication, be comfortable developing design and construction documents in both REVIT and Autocad software environments and have the ability to translate design concepts in various representational software platforms (Sketchup, Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.). Candidates should be detail-oriented and fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite software products. Knowledge of varied building systems, construction technologies and detailing, including steel frame, concrete, rough and finish work, exterior detailing, architectural, interior design/millwork, MEP, and structural design coordination are important skills.
