VDF products fair: Italian manufacturer 41zero42 has created a range of tiles based on the ice crystal patterns found in Angolan granite with tile supplier Parkside.
Named Solo, the range of granite-effect tiles were manufactured by 41zero42 to mimic the appearance of Angolan granite, which is found in southern Africa and contains intricate patterns where ice crystals have formed in the stone.
The tiles are available from Parkside in three colours – black, white and grey – all of which contain the crystal patterning.
"Solo is all about an understated style," said parkside. "Bringing tonal detail across areas, the stone-effect is subtle yet interesting, an all-over tile with depth and substance."
The tiles are manufactured with a matt finish in six sizes, with the 800 by 400-millimetre tile also available with a slip resistant finish called OUT.
