Registration Deadline: Apr 30, 2023; Submission Deadline: Apr 30, 2023 IntroductionArchiol has organized this second edition of the Sunlight in Architecture design competition to understand the importance of sunlight as a building material in architectural design.Sunlight is integral to the design of a building, it brings added value. Sunlight also known as natural light plays an important role in the comfort, health, and mood of the human, but it varies depending on where we are. Natural lighting has been proven to increase health and comfort levels for building occupants. If architects fail to understand how daylight works, they could run the risk of failing the building occupants. Introducing daylight into the building is not as simple as it seems.
