The CCA goes viral with new exhibition 'madskills: Self-Documenting Construction on Social Media'

A new exhibition inspired by the rise of the creator economy amongst builders and tradespeople has taken over the Canadian Centre for Architecture this summer.Curated by Hester Keijser, madskills: Self-Documenting Construction on Social Media investigates popular worker-made social media posts documenting unique construction skills on-site and in a viral manner. It is part of an ongoing investigation by the institution into the use of new media as a lens through which the built environment can be examined.
