United Dwelling partners with homeowners to transform underutilized garages and backyards into affordable, high-quality homes known as Accessory Dwelling Units, granny flats, casitas, or in-law units.  We are dedicated to creating opportunities for our interns that go beyond the summer. The R+D intern will primarily be responsible for assisting in the preparation of Construction Instructions that will be used by the construction team to install our units. Daily tasks will vary from producing graphic design drafts and BIM to on-site field visits to verify installation conditions and testing of instructions.
