VMDO is seeking a highly motivated, creative, team-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Project Architect in our Charlottesville, VA office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of post-degree, professional experience and work samples that demonstrates a proficiency in a range of design presentation formats both digitally and hand-drawn formats. Responsibilities Work closely with Principal in Charge and complement the Project Designer to develop a design concept and oversee the documentation of the project. Addresses major project decisions and handles significant project challenges requiring new approaches and guidelines. Direct and manage project teams, consultants, and partner firms through all phases of work on large projects.
