- Preheat the oven to 400F°.
- Dry the chickpeas with a towel, removing any loose skins.
- Spread the chickpeas onto a paper lined baking sheet and toss with olive oil and salt.
- Transfer to the oven and roast them for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- If you are adding any herbs, toss the chickpeas with the herbs while they are still warm.

How to make hummus from dried chickpeas
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups drained and rinsed cooked chickpeas
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup smooth tahini

- 5 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- garnish of your choice
Use your blender to create this other-worldly, super delicious dip
Instructions:
- Blend all of the ingredients together in a high speed blender, adding water as needed while you reach a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Garnish with whatever you choose and serve with a warm pita bread or sliced veggies.

Easy chickpea recipes
Ingredients:
- 2 bunches chopped lettuce
- 2 radished
- 1 1/2 cups roasted chickpeas
- 1/2 cup toasted cubed bread
- olive oil
- homemade Ceaser dressing
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts
- salt and pepper
These are the ingredients you are going to need for the dressing
Instructions:
- In a bowl or plate add the lettuce and top with the dressing.
- Add the radishes, croutons, chickpeas and drizzle with the rest of the dressing.

How to cook chickpeas
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups chickpea flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, optional
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup corn
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- chopped baby kale or spinach
- chives for garnish
Use a muffin baking tray to create this delicious breakfast meal
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375F°.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, baking and garlic powders, salt and basil. Add the water while stirring. Then, add the rest of the ingredients. Mix in well.
- Oil a muffin baking tray and distribute the batter. Top with chives.
- Bake for about 35 minutes.

Ingredients:
For the Shawarma spice:
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- salt and pepper
For the shawarma:
- 4 pitas, warmed
- 1 1/2 cups roasted chickpeas with Shawarma spice
- 2 thinly sliced cucumbers
- 12 sliced cherry tomatoes

For the Zhoug paste:
- 1 cup cilantro
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 jalapeno
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp coriander
- salt and pepper
For the yoghurt sauce:
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Mel prep with these delicious wraps
Instructions:
- In a bowl mix all of the ingredients for the spice mix.
- Roast the chickpeas with the spices.
- Process all of the ingredients for the Zhoug paste in a blender.
- In a bowl mix all of the ingredients for the yoghurt sauce.
- To make the wraps, spread the hummus on the pita, top with chickpeas cucumber, tomato, onion, mint and drizzle with the zhoug and yoghurt sauce.

How to cook chickpeas?
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 bunch kale
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 block of feta, cut into planks
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups drained and rinsed cooked chickpeas
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- black pepper
- red paper flakes
The ingredients you are going to need
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F°.
- Add oil to a preheated skillet. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for about a minute. Gradually add the kale.
- Then, add the tomato sauce, lemon juice, chickpeas and 1/2 cup water and let it come to a simmer.
- Place the feta into the sauce and add the black pepper. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Drizzle with oil and red pepper flakes. Serve with lemon wedges and pita bread.

Creamy tomato soup recipe with chickpeas
How to cook canned chickpeas?
Ingredients:
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 yellow oinon
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1/3 cup chickpeas
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 450F°.
- On a paper lined baking sheet place foil covered, unpeeled garlic cloves, tomatoes and onion wedges. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and roast for about 20 minutes. Peel the garlic.
- Add the roasted veggies, canned tomatoes, chickpeas, vinegar, maple syrup, thyme, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper to a blender and mix until smooth.
- Serve the soup with croutons.

- 1 tsbp olive oil
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 diced white onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato paste

- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper

- 1 1/2 can rinsed and drained cooked chickpeas
Instructions:
- In a preheated skillet add olive oil, onion, bell pepper and garlic and sautee for about 5 minutes.
- Add the tomato puree and paste, maple syrup, salt, paprika, chilli powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, cardamom and coriander. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the chickpeas and olives and reduce the heat to medium-low and let simmer for about 20 minutes.

- Cook the rice.
- Preheat the oil in a skillet. Add the onion and saute for 5 minutes, then add the ginger, garlic and spinach and saute for additional 2 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, curry powder, cumin, coriander, salt and chickpeas and cook for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the coconut milks until fully combined and remove from the heat.

How to cook chickpeas with chicken
Ingredients:
- 1.25 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion
- salt and pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 15oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 15oz. can rinsed and drained chickpeas
- chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Preheat oil in a skillet and brown the chicken on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
- Add the onion and red bell pepper to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, while stirring.
- Then add the salt and pepper, paprika, cumin, diced tomatoes and broth. Stir in the chickpeas and rice. Transfer the chicken back to the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for about 40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Serve with parsley garnish.
