Influential Spanish architect and urban planner, Oriol Bohigas, has passed away at 95
The global architecture community is mourning the loss of another titan after the New York Times reported the architect’s death from Parkinson’s disease at his home in Barcelona on November 30th at the age of 95. Bohigas was influential in the modernist movement in Spain and became a prominent figure in the development of his hometown and its transformative turn hosting the Olympic Games in 1992.
