International Competition to develop a Concept Design for Educational Center in Moscow

Registration Deadline: Sep 24, 2021; Submission Deadline: Sep 24, 2021 The purpose of the competition is to expand new functional planning solutions for the new educational center in Moscow for an area of 3.46 hectares, based on contemporary requirements for the educational process. The competition is organized by Level Group, the operator of the competition is Citymakers. Russian and international architectural firms with relevant experience in the design of educational institutions are invited to participate in the competition. You can apply on the website https://letovo-arch-competition.com from 7 to 24 September 2021. As an application, participants must provide a motivation letter, a portfolio and a quote. In the first stage, shortlist of 6 finalist will be formed, based on the evaluation of applications and competetive negotiations. In the second stage, 6 finalists will develop concept designs based on the design specification from Citymakers. The development of concepts by the finalists is paid for; the total prize fund for the 6 finalists will be 18,000,000 rubles (205 000 euros). The winner of the competition will be determined on December 16 at a jury meeting, which will include representatives of Level Group, Letovo, Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief Architect of Moscow, Aram Pakhchanyan, director of Ayb school in Yerevan, Lai Cheng Lim, education expert, former director of the oldest school in Singapore Raffles Institution and others.
