KAL Architects seeking Project Designer in Irvine, CA, US
An full-time position for Architectural Designer/Draftsperson with 2 to 5 years, well-rounded background in design and construction document production. Design capabilities to include AutoCad, 3- D Modeling/REVIT and familiarity with other programs, e.g. MS Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc. Duties and Responsibilities include developing drawings, concept through construction documents. Field investigation and developing of drawings of existing conditions. Developing/drawing details, taking quantity take-offs for cost estimates. Drawings to be prepared in accordance with the client's CAD Standards (National CAD Standard in most cases). Skill required: Healthcare/public projects; works independently; understanding of variety of types of construction; reviewing drawings; Co-coordinating with consultants and contractors; and Good verbal & written communication skills.
