Studio DB Architecture seeking Junior Architect in New York, NY, US
Position purpose: The Junior Architect works closely in collaboration with the Senior Architect to develop the design and drawings for new and ongoing projects and embody the culture of the studio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Administrative Responsibilities: Oversees deadlines, project scopes and aesthetics simultaneously. Utilizes project action item lists in studio project management system. Personnel/Human Resources responsibilities: Participates in all studio culture building initiatives. Business Development: Attend industry events, trade shows and openings when possible. Engage in continuing education and lunch and learn events Client Management: Attend client meetings, take meeting minutes. Ascertain and maintains knowledge of NYC building code and applicable ADA laws or applicable codes for applicable projects.
