Project Details:

Location: Brasília, Brazil

Architect: TRAAMA / @traama.arq

From the Architect: "In this project we started by valuing the living room window and its view. We proposed a wooden bench so that it was possible to contemplate the view very closely. Underneath the bench, we created cabinets to store children’s toys and  paired them with open spaces for decor. The owners made just one request—to align the apartment with their personalities. The property was recently renovated, so changes that involved knocking down walls were out of the couple’s plans. So we only renewed paintings, lighting, and developed a beautiful layout with new furniture. The modular sofa made the difference in integrating the TV room and the living room. The Mole chair, by Brazilian designer Sérgio Rodrigues, takes center stage. The owners use it for more introspective moments of reading and resting. We finished off the layout with the Icon bookcase by designer Jader Almeida, and placed it in front of the office doors to make the space more discreet while still adding a touch of design."
