Western New York’s Largest Interior Design Trade Show Returns
The Buffalo City Center of the New York Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA NY) proudly announces the 11th Annual BuffCon, the region’s largest commercial interior design trade show. Taking place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Powerhouse (140 Lee Street, Buffalo, NY 14210), this year’s event brings together the region’s design community for an evening of connection, inspiration, and discovery.
BuffCon will feature a diverse array of exhibitors showcasing the latest trends, innovative products, and cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of interior design. The event offers designers, architects, contractors, manufacturers, and design enthusiasts an excellent platform for discovering new ideas, exploring creative solutions, and networking with leading designers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
“BuffCon brings designers and industry partners together to discover new and exciting products, exchange ideas, and find inspiration. It’s a reminder that we’re all working toward the same goal of creating thoughtful, curated spaces for people to experience and enjoy,” said Chelsey Balistrieri, Buffalo City Center Co-Director. “BuffCon reminds us why Buffalo's design community is so special. It's a place to spark innovation, inspire new ideas, and strengthen industry connections, and we're excited to welcome everyone this year,” said Alyssa Kita, Co-Director of the Buffalo City Center.
Since its founding in 2015, BuffCon has grown from a small local gathering into one of the region's premier design events — originally conceived to bring the energy and product innovation of NeoCon, the industry's flagship Chicago trade show, to designers across Western New York who might not otherwise get to experience it firsthand.
The Powerhouse’s industrial-chic setting—with soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and historic character—will once again provide the perfect backdrop for networking with top design professionals and discovering innovative materials, furnishings, and finishes.
Tickets are free for IIDA NY members, $33.85 for non-members, and $15 for students. Registration is available via Eventbrite. Space is limited to 500 attendees, so early registration is encouraged.
