Registration Deadline: Jul 1, 2024; Submission Deadline: Aug 9, 2024 Background ▪ Yangyang became an area with even more expectations for the future as it became a settlement for local surfers, and the surfing culture has expanded over the last ten years. In addition, the opening of the Yangyang Expressway in June 2017 increased the accessibility to the city, and the number of tourists increased significantly. ▪ As surfing became a local culture in the area, an exotic atmosphere has been created along the beach. The local content in the area that can be enjoyed only on Yangyang's beach became a cultural icon symbolizing Yangyang. The local content started in a specific area and has gradually expanded to surrounding areas.
