A down-to-the-studs remodel by owner and midcentury enthusiast Blaine Siler preserved and restored the original elements where possible. Only the living room and kitchen retained the original pickled stain on the tongue-and-groove ceiling, so a custom faux-stained finish was developed to match in areas that had been painted over in prior years.
