Project Details:
Location: Mount Tremper, New York
Interior Designer: Sanabria & Co. / @sanabriaandco
Architect: KWS Architecture
General Contractor: Hudson Valley Builders
Photographer: Stacy Zarin Goldberg / @stacyzaringoldberg
From the Interior Designer: "We jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with our clients when they purchased a dream property in the Catskills. The five-acre property included a small cottage and a stunning main building - a yurt built by hand in the mid- 1970s - which previously served as a pre-school. For this project, our clients had a clear vision for the main building (a.k.a. the 'Octagon'). We worked alongside KWS Architecture to transform the Octagon into a functional and beautiful home for a family of five while honoring its unique architecture, history, and stunning views. The result is a study in what can be achieved when the homeowners and their team collaborate, let things unfold naturally and go for it."
