A see-through television features in today's Dezeen Weekly newsletter
The latest edition of our Dezeen Weekly newsletter features Chinese electronics company Xiaomi's see-through television.
Readers are amazed by the Mi TV LUX see-through television, which displays images that appear to be "floating in the air".
Recognised as a world's first, the television features an edge-to-edge transparent display, leaving what looks like a simple glass screen, allowing viewers to see through to the other side.
One reader commented on the story, "we really are in the future aren't we?"
Other stories in this week's newsletter include public toilets in Tokyo featuring transparent walls, IKEA Japan's collection of branded clothing and the newest Apple store designed by Foster + Partners.
