Bang & Olufsen’s Beovision Harmony TV Opens Up to Two New Colorways
The Bang & Olufsen Beovision Harmony OLED television returns a year later adorned in two new colorways.
Premiering at Salone del Mobile in 2019, the Bang & Olufsen Beovision Harmony OLED television returns a year later adorned in two new colorways, presenting the Danish maker’s signature slat folding door design with an opulent refresh. Available in 65-inch and 77-inch editions, the update brings two handsome combinations: one with bronze tone aluminum combined with walnut, the other with brass tone aluminum paired with smoked oak.
Beovision Harmony’s design is an elegant execution of hide and seek, with a state-of-the-art three-channel audio system housed behind two sets of front cover slats of oak and aluminum that fan out in one seamless motion like a morning salutation while the set itself rises to attain a perfect viewing height. If you haven’t seen it in motion, witness the Harmony’s uniquely choreographed on/off motion below:
The Beovision Harmony TV is born of a collaborative manufacturing effort between Bang & Olufsen’s factory in Struer and Bjerrum-Nielsen, a small Danish wood supplier responsible for the set’s wooden covers. Making one front for a Beovision Harmony TV requires an entire day and goes through 18 hands and robotic machinery before completion.
Each of the new Beovision Harmony colorways is designed to be ideally complemented and bookended by a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beolab speakers, a handsome pairing of Danish design that signifies itself as much as a statement piece as it is an example of the ultimate audio-video system.
