Deft Union seeking Industrial Designer (furniture & cabinetry), Draftsperson, CNC operator in Miami, FL, US

The goal is to seamlessly translate approved design development drawings for furniture and specialty cabinetry into production drawings and cut files to be milled on our CNC. The production drawings will be used by our management team for cost estimation, and our in house fabrication team to build from.   This role is also responsible for the operation of the CNC machine.  Ideal candidates will have previous knowledge of CNC operations but we can teach if needed, and candidates willing to learn.  The candidate will work on a variety of projects, designing furniture, cabinets, and specialty  fixtures for restaurants, retail spaces, custom furniture, installation design, window displays etc.  The candidate will cooperate with our Creative Director and Project Managers to execute high quality custom work.
