Whether it is just the family circle, or you are throwing a lavish party for all of you friends, you have to impress them. So, prove to everyone that you are the hostess with the mostest with a few delicious and easy Christmas appetizers to get the party started.
Easy Christmas appetizers to get the party started
Cream cheese Christmas appetizers
Easy Christmas appetizers with cream cheese
Ingredients:
- 250gr cream cheese
- 50gr grated Parmesan cheese
- 75gr chopped walnuts
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp honey
For garnish:
- chopped pistachio nuts
- dried cranberries
- parsley
- fresh rosemary
The ingredients you are going to need
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and grated Parmesan. The, add the walnuts, cinnamon and honey and mix everything together. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Scoop a handful of the mixture and shape into a ball. Arrange on a plate.
- In another plate mix the pistachio nuts, cranberries and parsley. Roll the balls in the mix and make sure they are fully covered.
- Add a small rosemary branch to the top of the balls.

Ingredients:
- 500gr pizza dough
- 250gr baby mozzarella
- whisked eggs
- fresh coriander
For garnish:
- salsa dip
- melted butter
- fresh rosemary
- cherry tomatoes
Instructions:
- On a lightly floured surface roll out the pizza dough.
- Cut into small squares.
- Grab a baby mozzarella and place in the center of the square and pull the corners of the dough together to cover the mozzarella.
- Arrange on a paper lined baking sheet in the shape of a wreath (place a small bowl in the middle where your dip is going to be).
- Cover with beaten eggs and fresh coriander. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Serve with tomato dip in a bowl in the middle, fresh rosemary and halved cherry tomatoes.

- 8oz shredded provolone cheese

- 1 loaf Italian bread, cut into slices

- Preheat the oven to 230 degrees.
- In a bowl mix all of the ingredients (except for the bread). Place in a baking dish and bake for about 15 minuted until all the cheese is melted and slightly browned on top.
- Toast the sliced bread for about 5 minutes.

Easy Christmas appetizers – baked Brie
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- Brie wheel
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 230 degrees.
- Lay the pastry on a floured surface and place the Brie in the centre to measure then remove it.
- Add the honey, cranberries and pecans to the centre of the pastry (where the Brie is going to go) and place the Brie wheel on top.
- Gather up the edges of the pastry at the top and press them shut with your fingers. You can also use any excess dough to create a decoration on top.
- Whisk the egg with the water and brush the entire pastry with it.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.

- 1 8oz. package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- garnish: 1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1/2 cup chopped bacon
Instructions:
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer until well blended.
- Form the mixture into small balls.
- Roll each ball into the garnish of your choice and refrigerate for at least an hour.

- 1 tube crescent dough sheet
- 12 slices swiss cheese
- 3/4 lbs. ham
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Roll out the dough and press into a 12×18 inch rectangle. Place the ham and cheese on top.
- Roll the dough up tightly. Pinch the ends together and place with the seam down, then cut into 12 pieces. Transfer to a baking dish.
- In a bowl mix the butter, poppy seeds, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the mixture evenly over the rolls.
- Bake for about 25 minutes.

Ingredients:
- 1 can crescent dough sheet
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2 tbsp torn basil leaves
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and press into 13×8 inch rectangle.
- Cut 12 stockings with a cookie cutter and transfer to a baking sheet. Bake for about 8 minutes.
- Top with sauce, leaving 1/4-inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella on the top of each stocking and bake for additional 4-6 minutes.
- Sprinkle with basil leaves.

- 24-36 frozen ravioli
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
- vegetable oil

Instructions:
- In a bowl mix the eggs and buttermilk.
- In a plate mix the breadcrumbs and garlic
- Put the flour in a plate.
- Dip each of the ravioli in the egg mixture, then the flour, back in the egg mixture and finally in the breadcrumbs. Place on a plate.
- In a pan heat the oil and cook the raviolis for about 3-4 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and serve with marinara sauce.

- 2 boxes mini Fillo shells
- 8oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup pesto
- chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup diced sun dried tomatoes
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- In a bowl beat the cream cheese and yogurt until smooth. Beat in the pesto and then add 2/3 of the sun dried tomatoes and parmesan.
- Fill the shells with the mixture and transfer to a serving plate. Top with the rest of the sun dried tomatoes and basil.

Ingredients:
For the cranberry sauce:
- 16oz. crranberries
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup apple sauce without sugar
- 3 minced dates
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
For the sweet potato mousse:
- 2 cups pureed sweet potato
- 1 cup vegan cashew cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- pinch of salt and pepper
Serve with:
- vegan crackers
- pecans
- toasted pumpkin seeds
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, heat the cranberries, ginger, cider, apple sauce, dates and cinnamon. Once the cranberries burst you can allow to cool and thicken.
- Puree the flesh of the sweet potatoes with the cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
- To serve, pipe the mousse on top of the cracker, then top with the cranberry sauce, pecans and pumpkin seeds.
