ECA (Ethelind Coblin Architect) seeking Architect Peer-Review Professional – Coop-Condo Alterations in New York, NY, US

Primary Responsibilities: ECA is looking for a construction savvy professional who is deeply interested in, and has a strong grasp of residential construction techniques, building systems, and the Code. The individual is very capable of self-managing many small projects with a variety of stakeholders. This person should be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication, collaborative, and with good time management skills. They will be providing peer reviews of apartment alterations in co-ops and condominiums on behalf of Management and Boards. Responsibilities include providing written reviews of proposed drawings and specifications in collaboration with our engineering consultants. Reviews advise on the conformance of the proposed plans to the building’s alteration agreement, codes, and best construction practices.
