SynopsisThe Airport Facilities Design Manager reports to the Airport Development Program Delivery Director and is responsible for the design management of various facilities on the airport campus. Scopes of design will encompass Bus Yard charging facility, Facility Maintenance yard relocation, parking garages (new and retrofit), plus other misc. airport support facilities. The characteristics of the candidate shall include a solid understanding of airport terminal functions and assets such as passenger processing, baggage processing, airline operations, and aircraft/apron requirements. The individual must be knowledgeable in all design deliverables and be able to recognize quality vs. incomplete design work and take appropriate actions accordingly.
