WHO WE ARE: FIVE - EIGHTHS is an architect-led design/build practice located in Ferndale, Michigan. Our portfolio is based around modern design, while taking strong cues from the area's rich industrial vernacular. Our work spans both the residential and commercial sectors, rehabilitation projects, and new construction. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: As a small and nimble firm, the ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly detailed, and has an exceptional ability to ask questions and expand the creative dialogue of the studio. All team members will work closely with the firm’s principals and will be involved in all phases of project development, including construction, and will attend client meetings, site meetings, perform field measurements, in addition to everyday architectural responsibilities, typically managing 3-5 projects at a time.
