Georgia Tech team wins 2024 ULI Hines Student Competition with redevelopment plan for Seattle
The winners of this year’s Urban Land Institute (ULI) Hines Student Competition have been announced as a team from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Their vision for the redevelopment of a land parcel in downtown Seattle addressed concerns about equity, housing affordability, access to neighborhood services, sustainability, and connectivity to surrounding communities as related by planning officials from King County.Their project titled ‘Meander’ was selected as the $50,000 winner and joined by three other $10,000 prize winners from Georgia Tech, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Maryland, College Park.
