#Oil Soap
Oil soaps like Murphy’s Oil are one of the most effective ways to get marker ink out of your clothes. Oil soaps have an oil base rather than a water base, which makes them better at removing such pesky stains. While they do have a stronger smell, such products are not dangerous and their fumes are harmless. To clean the stain just take a rag and place it under the stain. This way the ink won’t soak into other parts of the garment. Then just use a small amount of oil soap on the stain. Let it sit and then with another rag or brush, gently scrub the stain. Finally, rinse away the suds and make sure the water is not splashing around all over the garment. We do not want the ink falling anywhere else.

#Vinegar and Rubbing Alcohol
White vinegar is a lifesaver. It can clean pretty much anything. And when combined with rubbing alcohol, it can obliterate pretty much any stain. This method is great for markers that have an alcohol base. While rubbing alcohol may also work by itself, by adding white vinegar you are making a solution that is guaranteed to work. Just place a rag or towel behind the stain. Then soak a cotton ball with the rubbing alcohol. Dab the stain continuously. Next, fill a bowl or bucket with some warm water and mix in one cup of white vinegar. Place the stained garment in the water and vinegar and swish it around for a bit. Then leave it to soak for around fifteen minutes. Finally, rinse it out under some cool water.
