Introducing Parcel by Pinch Food Design: Catering Re-Imagined Again
Pinch launches Parcel, an elevated, at-home, food and beverage experience, meant to connect people, even when they’re apart.
We could all use a memorable, fun, and delicious escape… luckily this is our specialty.
This month Pinch launched Parcel, an elevated, at-home, food and beverage experience, meant to connect people, even when they’re apart. As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.
When opening the customizable furoshiki-style wrapped parcel, “guests” will discover a balanced and diverse menu plated in chic minimalist reusable steamer baskets, and imaginative cocktails paired with thoughtfully curated glass and cork barware. Parcel is the solution to so many companies having to re-invent how they entertain, fund-raise and virtually gather… oh, and did we mention it’s zero-waste!?
Pre-COVID, tech companies and start-ups famously prioritized lavish, in-house food and beverage programs to increase productivity and engagement among their talent. From bottomless coffee and candy bars to daily happy hours and ping pong tournaments, these office perks were also used as recruitment and retention tools in a competitive job market. Now that staff is relegated to their homes, the corporate sector is scrambling to woo their teams from a distance.
Similarly, non-profits have found value in Parcel as a replacement for the opulent galas and fundraisers they were accustomed to hosting in a pre-face mask world. Where they would once invite 1500 donors to dress in black tie and toast to monies raised, the pivot to offering “guests” a uniquely memorable catering experience in their homes is the only way to maintain a steep price-tag per ticket.
Parcel is available now. Contact info@pinchfooddesign.com for more information.
