Designer Adam Nathaniel Furman will speak to Dezeen in a live Screentime conversation sponsored by Philips TV & Sound as part of Virtual Design Festival. Watch it here live at 2:00pm UK time.
Furman will discuss his work with Dezeen's founder and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs.
The London-based designer has become known for adorning his work, which includes interiors, furniture and products, with his colourful and often pattern-rich aesthetic.
Previous projects include a pastel-coloured set of chairs based on intimate parts of the body, which the designer said explored "colour, cuteness and queerness".
Furman recently completed a renovation of a Tokyo apartment in a sugar-sweet colour palette, which he describes as a "visual feast".
In January 2020, he designed a colourful pattern-clashing mosaic that adorns the entrance and reception of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital's maternity ward.
Furman is also a judge for the 2020 edition of Dezeen Awards, along with UNStudio founder Ben van Berkel and author and architect Paola Antonelli among others.
This conversation is sponsored by Philips TV & Sound and is part of our Screentime series for Virtual Design Festival, which will feature interviews with European designers including Shahar Livne, Teresa van Dongen and Ini Archibong among others.
