Originally conceived by the Coastal Custom Residential Architects Network (C-CRAN), the program was created to spotlight the work of small firms and sole practitioners whose thoughtful, place-responsive projects often fall outside traditional awards programs. Living on the Edge offers a platform to celebrate this work and elevate the voices shaping residential design along the coast. Designing in California’s coastal climate invites a seamless dialogue between indoors and out.
