METCALFE, a national award-winning experience design firm of 18 people in Center City Philadelphia that focuses on schools, museums, arboreta, public spaces in healthcare and nature playgrounds. We are experts in creating social and informal learning spaces at the unique intersection of architecture, exhibition and graphic design. We are seeking a high-energy architect (professional registration preferred) with 5 to 9 years’ work experience who is a strong designer and comfortable working at many different scales at our Experience Design Firm. While you would be working on many architecture projects (new consturction and renovations), you might also work on exhibit or nature play projects. You should be very comfortable designing building assemblies and supervising small groups of staff.
