Overview The School of Architecture and Design at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) invites applications for the position of Robotics Fabrication Lab Manager. Based on Long Island, the Manager will be serving both the New York City and Long Island (Old Westbury) campus locations. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Digital Technologies and Fabrication this position will be responsible for daily operations of an integrated analog and digital fabrication shop in Long Island.Be the primary technician for the Robotics Lab & advanced 3D printing lab.Collaborate with NYIT faculty and administrators and assist in, installing, maintaining, and continually improving equipment for a state-of-the-art wood shop and digital fabrication lab.Administration of safety procedures and their coordinator with other NYIT administration including the implementation of operation procedures (OP) and Machine Safety Operating Procedures (SOP).Assist with technology budgets and reports in add...
