OCA Architects seeking Associate Architect in Newark, NJ, US

OCA is looking for a self-motivated Associate Architect with 3-6 years of experience. Architectural Associate will work from the designs of others under supervision and perform routine architectural assignments using prescribed methods. This position is a hands-on, in-office position. Duties Provides technical expertise for assigned tasks or projects. Performs design services and calculations to determine sizes, details of structures, equipment components, and systems. Performs site surveys and investigations of existing facilities and conditions and verifies the validity of existing documents. Provides on-site and office technical assistance during construction to resolve field problems in a timely manner. QualificationsBachelor's or degree in Architecture or a related field Must have 3-6 years of experience in design and construction document preparation. Proficiency with AutoCAD, and REVIT is a MUST.
