Overhead is an architecture office in New York City. Overhead took form under the same roof as an artist-led construction company that has grown to what is today a 120-person design-build vertical. As such, Overhead maintains a close proximity to construction, which imbues the work with a sense of pragmatism and material intelligence: Overhead has little interest in platonic ideals floating high overhead, and instead looks to the immediate, the preexisting, and the overlooked conditions around them as material rife with opportunity. Our office is expanding and we are seeking Architectural Designers, at both Junior and Senior levels, to join our studio and share in that expansion. Candidates must have at least three years of professional architectural experience and be comfortable operating independently within a fast-paced work environment.
