Ryder Design & Architecture seeking Intermediate Designer in Santa Monica, CA, US

Position requirements  • Professional degree in Architecture from a U.S. College or University • On track for licensure, California licensed architect is a plus • Minimum 3-5 years of post-graduate experience working in architecture. • Multifamily and low-income housing building experience is desirable • Strong understanding of the building code, green code and disabled access requirements. • Familiarity with Los Angeles building and zoning requirements. Permit process in Los Angeles. • Knowledge in Coastal Approvals is a plus • Good understanding and ability to coordinate consultant systems and drawings • Knowledge of project processes related to coordination, workflow and construction detailing • Knowledge of construction materials, standards, and details • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high-quality of work • Proficiency in Revit (3 years in a professional setting) no exemption • Also, knowledge in Rhino, Sketch-up and Adobe Creativ...
