Safdie Architects is seeking intermediate architects / designers (5-10+ years’ experience) with exceptional design, communication, and interpersonal skills to join their design practice. Intermediate architects / designers work directly with Senior Designers and the firm’s Principals to develop design concepts and architectural ideas and share in the responsibility for organizing and coordinating the efforts of all members of the design team (including outside consultant team members). Given the diversity of the firm’s projects, with regards to project type, scale and geographic location, intermediate architects / designers need to be extremely nimble and comfortable working within such diversity. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively lead teams of junior architects, have demonstrated experience developing and maintaining communication within the team and its consultants and have experience with the design and detailing of complex projects.
