Scott Shields Architects Inc. (SSA)I is looking to employ a creative Architectural Designer with the following minimum requirements: a Bachelor's degree in architecture, or a related field, as well as: · At least 2 years of experience preparing design concepts, plans and construction documents in an architectural office ; · At least 1 year of Canadian experience reading, interpreting, and applying building codes to designs; · Advanced proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD software; · Working proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite and 3D Modeling software; · Understanding of building technology and assembly (i.e. wood, steel, steel stud, and concrete construction); and · Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Interior design experience is considered an asset.
