Skin the Architect

SKIN THE ARCHITECT is an interactive installation by LAIDA - the Latvian Architecture and Design Union - created in response to the theme of this year's Tallinn Architecture Biennale: HOW MUCH? It is presented at the Wise headquarters in the Krulli Quarter, with the space supported by real estate developer Invego. At the centre of the installation stands a 2.2 m tall and 1.7 m wide stylised metal bust of an architect - not a portrait of an individual, but a representation of the profession itself. The bust is covered with multiple layers of architectural drawings, forming the architect's symbolic skin. Visitors
