The Southern California Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (SoCalNOMA) is taking action to rebuild the Black community’s stake in Altadena following the Eaton Fire, joining local groups such as the Altadena Rebuild Coalition that are ensuring the cultural preservation of its legacy amid concerns about a potential erasure as part of rebuilding. Chapter President Matthew J.
