The City of Sacramento is seeking an experienced, certified Architect, to lead the Architectural Section in the Facilities Division of the Department of Public Works. The Architectural Section provides design services and project management for major repairs and remodels of existing buildings and the construction of new governmental facilities. Successful candidates will have architectural experience for a variety of building types. Experience with governmental facilities, such as libraries, community centers, corporation yards, police facilities, fire stations and office buildings are desirable. This is a supervisory level position, requiring the ability to oversee staff, consultants, and projects.
