Tectonicus seeking Parametric Architect in Tucson, AZ, US

Tectonicus is seeking a Jr parametric architectural designer to work with us on a federally funded research project for the next 20 months or longer. This is a very experimental project that is research-based in nature. We are developing a fully parametric grasshopper platform and eventually developing it into a more resilient BIM system. Additionally we are building a full scale physical prototype this winter.  We also have a number of other architectural projects ranging from adaptive re-use, to off the grid homes. Applicants should possess strong abilities in: Rhino & Grasshopper Steel Detailing and Structural design  design/build experience preferred Basics of CNC and rapid prototyping technologies Architecture or Engineering degree 1-3 years of work experience preferred.  Take immense joy in invention and idea development as a team Enjoy the exchange of ideas and open discussion Clear communicator On time, reliable Work from Slack, & Google drive We work four days a week M-Th 8-6 mst 30-4...
