Description The Office of Charles F Bloszies is an award winning, specialized firm engaged in urban infill design. Our work ranges from adaptive re-use of large structures to new buildings on challenging sites. Projects are mostly in San Francisco in highly visible locations. We are a small office where everyone is exposed to the various phases of design and construction. We are seeking a well-educated, technically oriented person to join our team to work on several interesting urban infill projects, including innovative ideas for addressing homelessness in the Bay Area. We have an academic side as well – firm principal Charles Bloszies is the author of an influential book on the art of transforming old structures into new buildings, published by Princeton Architectural Press, and is working on a second book entitled The Sustainable Building Artistically Considered.
