University of Georgia seeking Project Architect in Athens, GA, US

This individual is responsible for providing leadership and participating in preliminary studies and estimates of proposed building projects, and in the design and preparation of new buildings, renovation of existing buildings, oversight of construction, related furniture, fixtures, and equipment, move-in, and the associated warranty period. There will be a variety of project types and sizes and the individual will lead more complex capital projects that may also require interactions and coordination with the University System of Georgia Board of Regents Office of Real Estate and/or the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission. The individual will provide leadership to the project and the project design team consisting of architects, engineers, designers, and construction professionals.
