University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa seeking Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Architecture - Design & Construction in Honolulu, HI, US

The School of Architecture at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UH Manoa) seeks to hire a dynamic and accomplished full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor with experience in architectural design, building technology, and construction. The school seeks candidates who can demonstrate a high degree of practical and technical expertise with an emphasis on building materials, construction processes, building systems integration, the application of building codes, and management or administration of construction projects. A research focus on architectural technology or applied research in alternative construction sciences or ecological design relevant to the Pacific Islands context is desirable. Candidates with a practical background in building construction, contracting, design/build, and /or hands-on fabrication projects are encouraged to apply.
