The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, at the University of Toronto, invites applications for a full-time tenure stream appointment in the area of History and Theory of Architecture, Landscape, and Environment. This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor with an expected start date of July 1, 2023, or shortly thereafter. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in the history of architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, environmental studies, geography, or a relevant field by the time of the appointment, or shortly thereafter. A professional degree in architecture or landscape architecture, a post-professional degree in urban design, or a graduate degree in a related field is desirable. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and/or creative professional activity, as well as in teaching.
